This site itself sets almost no cookies. The cookies you may meet here come from Google, because we use Google AdSense to fund the project.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website asks your browser to keep. They can remember choices, keep you signed in or help measure and personalise advertising. Similar technologies, such as local storage and device identifiers, work in a comparable way and this policy covers them too.
Cookies we set
This website does not need cookies to work and we do not set our own tracking or analytics cookies. The gReader News app (app.greaderapp.com) stores your subscriptions, articles and settings in your browser or device storage, not in cookies, and that data never leaves your device.
Third-party cookies: Google AdSense
We show ads through Google AdSense. When ads appear, Google and its partners may set or read cookies on your device to:
- serve ads and limit how often you see the same one
- measure views, clicks and fraud
- personalise ads based on your visits, where you have consented
Cookies commonly used by Google for these purposes include IDE, test_cookie and related DoubleClick cookies. How Google uses information from sites like ours is explained at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Your choices
- Where required (including the UK and EEA), you will see a consent message before personalised advertising cookies are used, and you can accept, refuse or change your choice.
- You can turn personalised ads on or off at Google Ads Settings.
- You can opt out of many third-party ad cookies at aboutads.info/choices and youronlinechoices.com/uk.
- Every browser lets you block or delete cookies altogether, usually under Settings, then Privacy or Site settings. Blocking advertising cookies does not block the site.
Changes
If the cookies we use change, we will update this page and the date above.
